Spanish premier earns less money than his staff, new data shows

Madrid, Safar 18, 1436, Dec 10, 2014, SPA -- Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy earns less money than many of the top officials he oversees, according to data released Wednesday as part of a transparency initiative by the Spanish government, dpa reported. The salary information, posted on a newly-launched internet portal, showed that Rajoy receives an annual salary of 78,200 euros (97,200 dollars).
