Rome, Sha'ban 27, 1433, Jul 17, 2012, SPA -- Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met here today with the Speaker of the Lower House of the Italian parliament, Gianfranco Fini. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the region, especially in the Palestinian territory and the intransigence of the Israeli occupation aimed at derailing the (Middle East) peace process.
