Istanbul, Muharram 3, 1434, Nov 17, 2012, SPA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey was standing by the people of Gaza. Replying to questions of reporters regarding Israel's offensive on Gaza, Erdogan said that Turkey supported the rightful cause of the people in Gaza. "I will have a phone conversation with U.S. President Barack Obama this evening and I will share these views with him," he was quoted as saying by Anadolu Agency. Turkey also demanded a meeting from the UN Secretariat General, he said. Premier Erdogan said that he hoped that Israel would end its hostile stance with a resolution to be made by the UN Security Council and the attitudes to be assumed by world powers. Erdogan said that he would hold talks in Egypt on Saturday, and he would have a meeting with Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi. --SPA 14:13 LOCAL TIME 11:13 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1049564
