Kabul, Muharram 18, 1434, Dec 2, 2012, SPA - At least 12 people including nine militants were killed and 14 injured when they attacked a military base Sunday in eastern Afghanistan, police said. "Nine insurgents armed with explosives, small arms and rocket-propelled grenades attacked the US military base near Jalalabad airfield in the eastern Nangarhar province this morning," police spokesman Hazrat Hossein said, adding that all the attackers were killed.
