Beijing, Dhu-AlHijjah 15, 1433, Oct 31, 2012, SPA - U.N.-Arab League Peace Envoy for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi today expressed the hope that China will play an active role in order to contribute to stop the violence in Syria. This came in a joint press conference held in Beijing after talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.
