Beirut, Safar 30, 1434, Jan 12, 2013, SPA - The opposing fighters of Al-Assad regime pushed towards two military airports in the northern province of Aleppo on Saturday, a day after capturing a similar strategic military base, activists told DPA. "Heavy fighting is taking place between opposing fighters and the regime's troops manning Al-Ming military airport in Aleppo's countryside, resulting in many casualties in government forces ranks," said Abu Omar Al-Halabi, a commander in the Free Syrian Army (FSA). He added that the opposing fighters were also targeting Aleppo's Nairib military camp. On Friday, rebel fighters captured the Taftanaz northern military base, which had been used by the government to bomb opposition strongholds in northern areas of the country. --SPA 14:31 LOCAL TIME 11:31 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1067842
