Washington, Sha'ban 21, 1435, Jun 19, 2014, SPA -- US Secretary of State John Kerry plays down reports that the Obama administration wants Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to step down, dpa reported. "Nothing that the president decides to do is going to be focused specifically on Prime Minister Maliki," Kerry tells NBC Thursday. "It is focused on the people of Iraq." The US says al-Maliki's failure to unite all Iraqis has fed support among Sunnis for militant Islamists but has stopped short of officially calling for regime change. But on Wednesday, Senator Dianne Feinstein said she was convinced that the Maliki government "has got to go if you want any reconciliation." -- SPA 22:14 LOCAL TIME 19:14 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1245803
