Pakistan's President Meets British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs

Islamabad, Rajab 23, 1433, Jun 13, 2012, SPA - President Asif Ali Zardari Tuesday said Pakistan and the United Kingdom (UK) need to make sustained efforts to achieve the target of 2.5 billion (British) pound trade by 2015, set under their Trade and Investment Roadmap. He was talking to the UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, William Hague, here yesterday. The President expressed satisfaction that the bilateral trade was following an upward trajectory and Pakistan offered great opportunities to the British entrepreneurs to invest in various sectors. The President called for encouraging exchange of businessmen from the two countries to further strengthen their economic interaction, according to a report of the Associated Press.
