Seoul, Jumada I 4, 1433, Mar 27, 2012, SPA - The 53 countries at the Nuclear Security Summit ended the meeting Tuesday with pledges to secure all nuclear material in four years, cooperate in preventing nuclear terrorism and seek "a safer world for all." They called nuclear terrorism "one of the most challenging threats to international security" while establishing the "shared goals of nuclear disarmament, nuclear nonproliferation and peaceful uses of nuclear energy." They also called on countries to minimize the use of highly enriched uranium, which can be used to produce nuclear weapons, and instead convert to low-enriched uranium, according to a report of DPA. The 2014 Nuclear Security Summit is to be held in the Netherlands. --SPA 14:39 LOCAL TIME 11:39 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/983378
