India Inks Pacts With Myanmar During Prime Minister Singh's visit

YANGON, Myanmar, Rajab 7, 1433, May 28, 2012, SPA - India has agreed to provide Myanmar with a $500 million credit as one of 12 deals signed during the visit of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Singh is currently on a three-day visit to Myanmar. He met Monday with Myanmar President Thein Sein, and together they attended the signing for the credit line, an air services pact and other agreements, according to a report of the Associated Press.
