Manila, Jumada II 15, 1433, May 6, 2012, SPA - Two people were killed and 30 wounded when a grenade exploded in the southern Philippines, the military said Sunday. The blast occurred in Iligan City of Mindanao region Saturday evening, said Lieutenant Colonel Randolph Cabangbang, a regional military spokesman. Army Superintendent Albert Caber said investigators confirmed the blast was caused by a grenade and not a bomb as earlier reported.
