Brussels, Muharram 8, 1433, Dec 3, 2011, SPA - Serbia struck a deal with Kosovo on the issue of border management late Friday, European Union mediators said after the third consecutive day of negotiations in Brussels. In a statement, the EU said Serbia and Kosovo agreed to joint management of their border points, but indicated that the deal "will be gradually implemented as soon as practically possible." The bloc also added that the EU's law and justice mission in Kosovo, EULEX, "will be present in line with its mandate." The deal was reached at around 10 pm (2100 GMT), eight hours after the latest round of negotiations started. Previously, the two sides had held inconclusive talks for 12 hours on Wednesday and for 13 hours on Thursday, DPA reported. --SPA 13:26 LOCAL TIME 10:26 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/948914
