Al-Quds City, Sha'ban 20, 1433, Jul 10, 2012, SPA - An Israeli court on Tuesday found former premier Ehud Olmert guilty of breach of trust, but acquitted him of two more serious corruption charges, according to a report of DPA. The verdict ended a more-than-two-year trial including testimony from more than 120 witnesses, and marked the first time that a former Israeli Prime Minister has been found guilty of corruption. The court ruled that Olmert had granted favors to the business clients of a friend when he was trade and industry minister. The case became known in Israel as the "Investment Centre Affair." The conviction is punishable by a maximum of three years in jail. --SPA 13:28 LOCAL TIME 10:28 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1014457
