Washington, Rajab 19, 1433, Jun 9, 2012, SPA - Serbia's Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic Friday was elected president of the 67th session of the U.N. General Assembly, which opens in September. Jeremic was elected on behalf of the Eastern European group and defeated Lithuanian U.N. Ambassador Dalius Cekuoli by a vote of 99 to 85. Jeremic will take over from Qatar’s Nassir Abdulaziz Al Nasser.
