Tunisian Prime Minister lauds Saudi Arabia position

Tunis, Rabi'I 25, 1433, Feb 17, 2012, SPA -- Tunisian Prime Minister Hamadi Al-Jebali, has lauded the position of the Kingdom, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at the regional and international arenas and its pivotal role in the service of Arab and Islamic causes. In an interview to mark his current official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arab, Al-Jebali said his first ever official visit to the region was designed to reflect the high-profile of the Kingdom for Tunisia. This is to express our appreciation of and thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, and the Saudi people for the great status of the Kingdom in the hearts of Tunisian government members and Tunisian people. He said his talks in Saudi Arabia would focus on bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields and ways of enhancing them in addition to the latest developments in the Arab arena and the issues of mutual concern. He said he would like to boost development in his country and promote foreign, particularly Arab and Saudi Arabian, investment in Tunisia in the aftermath of political stability in the country. He added that he will discuss the Palestinian issue and the forthcoming Syria Friends Conference scheduled for the end of this month in Tunisia.
