KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, Muharram 12, 1433, Dec 7, 2011, SPA - The Afghan government says 12 civilians have been killed in a roadside bomb attack in the south of the country. Helmand provincial spokesman Daoud Ahmadi says a minivan was hit by the bomb while driving in Sangin district Wednesday morning. Another six people were wounded and are being treated at a NATO base.
