RAMALLAH: FIFA has chosen Palestinian international referee Heba Saadia to officiate the Women’s World Cup matches in 2023, Palestine News and Information Agency reported on Sunday. Saadia will be the first Palestinian referee to take part in a FIFA Women’s World Cup. The women’s football tournament, which will kick off from July to August in Australia and New Zealand, is the first to be co-organized by two countries as well as the first to include 32 teams.
