RIYADH: The Kingdom’s Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing Majid Al-Hogail has announced that the second edition of the Municipal Investment Forum will take place from Jan. 24-26 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, the Saudi Press Agency reported.  The forum will aim to increase the private sector’s contribution to the development of Saudi cities by promoting investment opportunities. It will give investors an opportunity — from small and medium-sized enterprises to larger bodies — to learn about the openings offered by municipalities. Khaled Al Degaither, general supervisor of the forum, said that the event will include more than 25 dialogue sessions with a variety of leaders and specialists, along with 50 workshops, and more than 5,000 investment opportunities that cater to investors in various sectors.
