Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan stressed that Yemen war must end. He said on Wednesday that the only way to end the war in Yemen is with a political solution. “Saudi Arabia is working with regional and international partners for a pathway toward peace,” Prince Faisal said in “The Middle East: Meeting Point or Battleground?” session. He added that after the truce in Yemen has expired the work begins now to turn that truce into a permanent cease-fire including both the Houthis and internationally-recognized government. Touching on Saudi Vision 2030, he said we’re excited the most about building the sustainable economic growth not just for the Kingdom but for the Middle East region ‘Fewer slogans, more projects’. He pointed out that he’s optimistic about situation in Middle East. “The Middle East has proven to be very much the meeting space of the world, in the intersection between the East and West.” “There’s a true spirit of cooperation building in the region, and it can be infectious and also help to resolve the still existing conflicts in the region and beyond,” he added. He said: “We are focused on investing in our future, building our developmental path, and building a pathway to sustainable prosperity not just for the people of Saudi Arabia, but for the people of the region.”
