Ministers agree on increasing importance of electrical interconnection between Arab countries AMMAN: Energy ministers of the UAE and Jordan met in Abu Dhabi to discuss energy cooperation and developments in the global market. Jordan’s Saleh Kharabsheh met Suhail Mohammed Al-Mazrouei during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and the International Renewable Energy Agency’s General Assembly, reported Jordan’s News Agency on Wednesday. In a statement, Jordan said Kharabsheh and Al-Mazrouei agreed on the importance of electrical interconnection and cooperation between Arab countries to manage power generation projects and lower costs. The Jordanian minister also visited the Emirates National Oil Company in Dubai, and discussed means of cementing logistic and investment cooperation with its CEO Saif Humaid Al-Falasi.
