An official source at the Public Prosecution stated that it was revealed in investigations that the owner had sold the vehicle after making a radical change in its structure and details to make it look as if it was a newly manufactured one. It was found that the car had been involved in a traffic accident and it was estimated by the competent authority that the car was completely damaged. The source said that the defendant was referred to the competent court on charges of commercial fraud for selling a fraudulent product that had undergone alteration. The prosecution will plead with the court to award him penalties prescribed in the law.
