Students from the 11th batch of physician assistants at the Institute of Health Sciences expressed their gratitude for the positive role of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SPDRY) in Al-Muhrah. The lauded the implementation of several development projects and initiatives in the governorate, chiefly health initiatives by the King Salman Medical and Educational City Project. Students" remarks came during their visit to the King Salman Medical and Educational City, where they were briefed about the facility"s sections and its services to citizens. The visiting medical students expressed appreciation for the Kingdom"s support of Yemen and its funding of various vital projects across their country, especially in Al-Muhrah Governorate. A total of 47 male and female students from the medical assistant program and 16 female students from the midwifery program are benefiting from the theoretical training and practice in the projects implemented by SPDRY in Al-Muhrah, which include the dialysis center, surgery building, and intensive-care unit. The King Salman Medical and Educational City Project in Al-Muhrah Governorate is part of the Kingdom"s continued support to Yemen in various sectors, aimed at boosting the efficiency of performance and upgrading the quality of services to citizens. The project is one of the mega enterprises serving Yemen"s health and education sectors, and it consists of a 110-bed capacity educational hospital. — SPA
