Minister of Islamic Affairs meets with the President of Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Bahrain

Riyadh, December 10, 2022, SPA – Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, has held a meeting with Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Bahrain, attended by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda, and several members of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, within the framework of his current visit to Bahrain to sign the executive program for cooperation in Islamic fields between the two countries. Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa appreciated the pivotal Saudi role under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince in defending the nation, its entity, its values and constants, and its exceptional role in serving the Two Holy Mosques, and the holy sites, and caring for pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors. For his part, Dr. Abdullatif Al Al-Sheikh expressed his thanks to Bahrain, its leadership, and its people, praising the strong relations between the two countries, expressing his appreciation for the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Bahrain, and the vital role it plays in serving Islamic causes, noting that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has worked to spread the principles of tolerance by concluding many agreements with several Islamic countries and that the Kingdom has become a role model in applying the concept of tolerance and rejecting hatred. --SPA 19:16 LOCAL TIME 16:16 GMT 0019 www.spa.gov.sa/w1824973
