Riyadh, January 18, 2023, SPA -- The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GASGI) and ESRI International have signed an agreement to enhance cooperation in geospatial information and provide technical solutions in national geospatial infrastructure and cooperation under the government's framework convention on licensing of products and services provided by ESRI to government agencies, participating in supporting the private geospatial sector and geospatial start-ups in the Kingdom and supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as adopting national geospatial standards in all ESRI applications, building a platform for the geospatial community in Arabic, and participating in organizing conferences and workshops, training, capacity-building and technical consultation. GASGI President Dr. Eng. Mohammed Yahya Al Sayel and ESRI President Jack Dangermond signed the agreement.
