Riyadh, Dec 1, 2022, SPA -- Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) will organize a conference on Arabic Language in Int'l Organizations" on the 6th and 7th of next December in Riyadh. The conference will be held in the presence of a qualitative presence of major international organizations with the participation of specialists and those interested in the Arabic language. The Acting Secretary-General of KSGAAL, Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi, stated that KSGAAL, under the directives of Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, is active in various tracks nationally, regionally and internationally, and works under the HH directives in strengthening the global presence of the Arabic language and supporting its options in international organizations, pointing out that organizing the conference is an integrated coordination step, through which the Academy seeks to gather international organizations in one framework to discuss the international presence of the Arabic language in organizations, its reality and aspirations, and to praise the efforts and achievements made in this context, build on them, and review Organizations' current needs in relation to the Arabic language to keep pace with the reference of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the service of the Arabic language, and strengthening the cultural, scientific and linguistic link between international organizations and Saudi institutions. The conference is scheduled to discuss five main themes: the linguistic reality in international organizations and its strategic importance, the civilizational and cultural dimension of multilingualism and the responsibility of international organizations in this regard, the Arabic language in international organizations between difficulties and solutions, the translation from Arabic and its language in international organizations: reality and future prospects, and the initiatives and projects to enable the presence of the Arabic language in international organizations. --SPA 02:03 LOCAL TIME 23:03 GMT 0004 www.spa.gov.sa/w1820630
