Jeddah, October 19, 2022, SPA -- The Secretariat General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expresses its solidarity with the Republic of Cameroon following the occurrence of floods in the North of the country which caused several victims. The Secretariat General commends the emergency measures taken by the Cameroonian Authorities in order to assist the victims and limit the damage of these floods. The OIC calls upon its financial institutions, Member States and international partners to support Cameroon's efforts to alleviate the suffering of the victims of this disaster and to rebuild the destroyed areas and houses.
