Riyadh, Oct 12, 2022, SPA -- Statement by the Official Spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Brigadier General Turki Al-Malki: “In reference to previous announcements made by the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition regarding the detainee negotiations held in (Amman) under the auspices of the United Nations, two delegations from the Coalition and the Houthis exchanged visits today to detainees of both parties as a goodwill initiative under confidence-building and truce extension efforts in Yemen. This is a humanitarian visit that handles the detainee issue in a pure humanitarian approach, and was made possible as one of the gains of the truce and the efforts to extend it, in addition to further expanding its humanitarian, economic and livelihood gains for the Yemeni people, and kickstarting the political process and reaching comprehensive peace in Yemen.
