Madinah, October 23, 2022, SPA -- The total number of Umrah performers and visitors who arrived in Madinah through air, land and sea ports during the first quarter of the year and since the outset of the Umrah season reached 1,486,880, including 1,108,000 Umrah performers who left and 378,880 who were still staying in Madinah until yesterday, according to a report issued by the Under Secretariat of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Visit Affairs in Madinah. The statistics showed that number of top Umrah performers in Madinah in terms of their nationalities during this Umrah season, where Indonesian Umrah performers were the highest in number of 449,696, followed by Pakistanis with 287,793, Indians with 189,052, Iraqis with 122,557, and Bangladeshis with 76,946, who all visited the Prophet’s Holy Mosque and performed prayers amidst a system of services offered to ensure the comfort of visitors of the mosque.
