Jeddah, Oct. 11, 2022, SPA -- The secretariat general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) denounced in the strongest words the tearing down and burning of some copies of the holy Quran by Israeli extremist settlers in the vicinity of the Ibrahimi mosque in the city of Al-Khalil, considering that such a crime constitutes a provocation of the feelings of Muslims, an attack on their beliefs and a violation of the values and principles of human rights that would fuel hatred, extremism and violence throughout the world.
