Riyadh, October 09, 2022, SPA -- Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) revealed that more than 168,000 beneficiaries have benefited from the Transportation Support Program of working women (Wusool), since the launch of the program in November 2017 until September 2022, and the number of trips supported by the program exceeded more than 30 million trips, during the same period. The “Wusool” program aims to enable women to work, raise their participation in the labor market, and support their job stability, through the financial support provided by “Hadaf” and in cooperation with vehicle routing applications licensed by the Public Transport Authority to provide transportation service of high quality and at an appropriate cost. The "Wusool" program contributes to covering 80% of the transportation cost for each trip between work and home, with a maximum of SR1100 per month for the beneficiary earning a salary of SR6000 and less, and a maximum of SR800 per month for the beneficiary with a salary between SR6001 to SR8000, where the program support period reaches 24 months from the date of the first trip.
