10th Airplane of Saudi Relief Airlift Loaded with 30 Tons of Relief Items Arrives in Pakistan to Support Flood Victims

Karachi, September 28, 2022, SPA -- The tenth Saudi relief plane, laden with 30 tons of aid, including tents, blankets, shelter kits, food baskets and dates, benefiting 4,212 people, arrived in Karachi, Pakistan, on Tuesday. The plane is part of the Saudi relief airlift dispatched by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to support those affected by floods and rains in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The airlift also comes in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and with the follow-up of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. With the amount on this plane, the total aid delivered to Pakistan totalled 420 tons, benefitting 52,705 individuals. The aid was received by the National Disaster Management Authority and will be distributed to the affected people in a number of regions in Pakistan.
