Riyadh, November 3, 2022, SPA -- President of General Court of Audit, the Second Vice-president of International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), and the Chair of the INTOSA's Policy, Finance, and Administration Committee Dr. Hussam Alangari will be heading the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the XXIV INCOSAI, which will be held during the period from 7 to 11 November in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the participation of 800 participants from 198 countries. The meetings will discuss the INTOSAI's Strategic Plan (2023-2028), approving the INTOSAI's three-year Budget, discussing the development and review of ISSAIs, electing the Vice-president, and electing Governing Board Members and Committees Chairs. Moreover, the meeting will deliberate on a number of reports such as the report of the Secretary General, report on the SDGs, report of PFAC, and report of the Supervisory Committee on Emerging Issues, Professional Standards Committee, Capacity Building Committee, and the report of the IDI. XXIV INCOSAI will be followed by the 76th Governing Board Meeting, where Dr. Alangari will be participating in his capacity as the Second Vice-chair of INTOSAI. Moreover, the XXIV INCOSAI will be guided by two main themes: “The work of Supreme Audit Institutions in the face of public calamities” and “Global voice, global outcome, and far-reaching impact”.
