Jeddah, October 16, 2022, SPA -- Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha today received Secretary General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Dr. Youssef Al-Khalawi. The meeting focused on means to enhance the concept of micro finance in OIC member states and following up on the implementation of a project to establish a family bank in G5 Sahel, which called for its implementation the council of foreign ministers in its 48th session held in Islamabad in March. Al-Khalawi reviewed efforts of the chamber to establish the family bank in coordination with OIC Secretariat General and commercial chambers in concerned countries.
