Aden, October 22, 2022, SPA -- United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) held an exhibition in Aden, Yemen, to display food, agricultural and animal products made by families benefiting from the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) provided through the organization. In a ceremony on the sidelines of World Food Day, the organization reviewed the joint humanitarian efforts made in cooperation with KSrelief, considering that it is at the forefront of partners supporting the projects of the humanitarian response plan in Yemen, which contributed to alleviating the humanitarian crisis and the effects of the Corona pandemic. KSrelief-FAO partnership in Yemen aims to rebuild and restore agricultural productivity, create livelihood opportunities, confront food and nutrition insecurity, and contribute to the delivery of emergency aid to thousands of Yemeni families in various provinces, in addition to activating participation and knowledge and field experiences, capacity building, and implementation of seminars, workshops, and exhibitions on topics of common interest, which come in the context of supporting the food and agricultural sector and enhancing production opportunities to improve the living conditions of beneficiaries and provide them with sources of income. --SPA 21:01 LOCAL TIME 18:01 GMT 0023 www.spa.gov.sa/w1801321
