Jeddah, August 31, 2022 AD, SPA-- Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) has provided USD 525,000 to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to address the needs of the most vulnerable and conflict-affected communities in Afghanistan, in response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis. The allocated funds will help the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) to meet immediate humanitarian needs by providing lifesaving emergency food and nutrition assistance, essential healthcare services including routine immunization for children and child-bearing women, basic life support for the most vulnerable communities, transitional shelter and income-generation trainings for war widows as well as disaster and conflict-affected people in Afghanistan --SPA 13:21 LOCAL TIME 10:21 GMT 0013 www.spa.gov.sa/w1779328
