KSrelief supports campaign for vaccination against Coronavirus in Yemen

Aden, October 01, 2022, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has provided support for the national campaign for vaccination against Coronavirus (Covid-19), implemented by the Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population in 12 governorates during the period September 24 -28 2022 AD, as part of a support project that contributes to increasing the coverage of the vaccinated population against Coronavirus in Yemen, in coordination with the Ministry and World Health Organization. The project contributed to supporting the campaign to reach 446,966 individuals aged 18 years and over, constituting 12% of the population of the governorates benefiting from the vaccine, as well as training 2,242 members of the vaccination team, and deploying 320 fixed awareness volunteer teams and 180 mobile teams to vaccinate the targeted population. This comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's keenness, represented by KSrelief, to support Yemeni health sectors to carry out their vital functions towards the population and to contribute to combating the outbreak of the Coronavirus. --SPA 18:05 LOCAL TIME 15:05 GMT 0020 www.spa.gov.sa/w1792317
