Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, Saudi Arabia, July 04, 2022, SPA -- An airborne reporting team, tasked by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) to highlight the main stations of the annual Hajj this year, has minute by minute spotted the group-moving of more than 45000 pilgrims from Al-Madinah to Makkah, where they are scheduled to perfrom the climax of Hajj. Using state-of-the-art cameras from the windows of an airplane affiliated to the State Security Presidency at a 500 ft elevation, SPA photographers took videos for the movement of the last group of pilgrims leaving Islam's second holiest city of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, home of Prophet Mohammed's residence and grave, heading for Makkah Al-Mukarramah, home of God's sacred house and Islam's first Qibla. Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah region, who is also Chairman of the Region's Hajj and Visit Committee, has personally and directly patronized the move of pilgrims who have completed part I of Hajj, comprising visiting the Prophet, greeting him and his companions and praying in his mosque. According to Mohammed Al-Bijawe, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Visit Affairs, footage of the group-moving covered 45،304 boarding 1158 trips from the starting point of Zul-Hulaifa on the outskirts of the city, noting that his department is assigned to supervise the welcome of pilgrims to and departure from the Prophet's city, their housing, accommodation conditions, guide of the missing, help of the ailing pilgrims and provision of necessary service for the deceased. SPA team also authenticated the efforts of other government and private agencies related to the ritual. --SPA 00:02 LOCAL TIME 21:02 GMT 0001 www.spa.gov.sa/w1756539
