Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Advances 8 Ranks Among Most Competitive Countries in the World

Riyadh, June 17, 2022, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arena. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that global competitiveness has become a global standard in shaping the accelerating race of competitiveness among countries, and classifying their ranking on the map of progress. But making progress is not a simple matter, it requires planning and willingness in the context of a clear vision, the paper said. The paper added that in this regard, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its upward ascent in global competitiveness, making progress at the global level. Within the Kingdom's ongoing successes, the Global Competitiveness Yearbook report recorded that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia advanced 8 ranks among the most competitive countries in the world and made the second best progress among the measured countries, as well as among the G20 countries, topping countries, including South Korea, France and Japan, the paper further said.
