Makkah, June 15, 2022, SPA -- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah revealed today that 297,444 applications have been submitted in the electronic draw for citizens and residents with regular residency inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the Hajj season for the current year 1443 AH, of which 62% are for males and 38% for females. In a statement issued today, the ministry stated that the total number of completed applications exceeded 217,000 through the "Etmarna" application and the electronic portal for domestic pilgrims, adding that a “SMS” will be sent to those qualified today in preparation for completing the payment within 48 hours by the approved payment methods. --SPA 19:52 LOCAL TIME 16:52 GMT 0024 www.spa.gov.sa/w1746983
