Cairo, June 12, 2022, SPA -- Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi praised the Arab League's positions that help the project of restoring the state and ending the coup of the Iran-backed Houthi militia, voicing his hope for the Yemeni issue to remain at the center of the upcoming summit in coordination with all partners in the coalition to support legitimacy, under the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Al-Alimi made his remarks before the plenary session of the Arab League Council at the level of representatives, which was held today at the Arab League's headquarters in the presence of Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit and permanent representatives of Arab League member states. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's permanent representative to the Arab League Abdulrahman bin Saeed Al-Jumaa attended the session.
