Riyadh, June 05, 2022, SPA -- The scientific committee of the King Salman International Award for Disability Research has announced extending the period to apply for branches of the third round of the award until June 30. The decision was made during a meeting the committee held yesterday night for the first stage of sorting and arbitrating applicants’ files in the presence of head and members of the scientific committee at the headquarters of the King Salman Center for Disability Research in Riyadh. The committee reviewed scientific applications of applicants on the four branches of the award, namely health and medical sciences; educational and psychological sciences; rehabilitation and social sciences; and technical applications in areas of disability, according to evaluation mechanisms set for arbitration basics for each branch, which will be followed by successive arbitration stages subject to rules of the committee work. The award is considered among the top international awards in the disability field and an international event that scientists, institutions, centers and universities across the world aspire to.
