Jeddah, July 19, 2022, SPA -- Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha received here today Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the OIC Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh. The meeting was an opportunity to follow up on the implementation of the resolutions adopted by the 48th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers held in Islamabad, Pakistan, on March 23, 2022, discuss existing areas of cooperation, and express the two parties' desire to enhance dialogue and bilateral cooperation on topics and issues of common interest. The Permanent Representative highlighted the importance of the OIC’s role at the international and regional levels, especially issues related to Jammu and Kashmir, Islamophobia, and developments in Afghanistan.
