Riyadh, June 08, 2022, SPA -- Acting Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) Abdullah Al-Zahrani met here today with Cypriot Deputy Minister for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy Kyriacos Kokkinos, in the presence of Cyprus Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Stavros Avgoustides. Talks during the meeting went over opportunities to develop cooperation to benefit from technological and scientific capabilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, exchange expertise in research and innovation fields and utilizing them to support other sectors, in addition to reviewing the commission’s experiment in launching experimental organization environment for emerging technologies and enhancing cooperation in the fields of ICT, research and innovation. The meeting also discussed the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding in the fields of ICT, research and innovation.
