Medina, June 8, 2022, SPA -- Governor of Digital Government Authority Eng. Ahmed bin Mohammad Al-Suwaiyan announced today, during his speech at the 8th National Conference for Quality in Medina, the launch of the Digital Experience Maturity Index for Government Services. This index aims to measure the maturity of digital government platforms, products and services, and their channels through a set of measurement elements to improve the experience and increase the satisfaction of beneficiaries in accordance with the strategic directions of the digital government and the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. He explained that the Digital Experience Maturity Index will focus on measuring the maturity of (12) digital government platforms in its first cycle, as they are among the highest-priority platforms that were selected based on specific criteria, which are: Etimad, Absher, Madrasati, Najiz, Sakani, Qiwa, Tawakkalna, Sehhaty, Saber, Balady, Fasah, and ehsan. The index relies on three basic perspectives to measure the maturity of government platforms, aiming to achieve beneficiary satisfaction, improve the user experience, and enhance the mechanism for handling complaints and reports. Al-Suwaiyan stressed that the importance of the digital government’s contribution to achieving national goals by improving the quality of life of individuals, whether citizens, residents, or visitors, in addition to facilitating doing business, enhancing competitiveness, and increasing government work efficiency. Thus, enhancing Saudi Arabia's digital ranking in global indexes.
