Riyadh, May 30, 2022, SPA -- The "Saving a Soul" awareness campaign launched recently by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority has received a Guinness world record after succeeding in collecting 9,836 pledges through its website within 24 hours, where participants pledged to learn first aid and how to use automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Spokesperson of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority Abdulaziz Al-Suwaine said that the campaign, which was held at Riyadh Front, witnessed big turnout from various segments of the society, including citizens and residents, who showed true will to learn first aid and ways to use AEDs that the authority installed in several public places to contribute to saving souls.
