Minister of Islamic Affairs Meets with Kosovo's Grand Mufti

Jeddah, May 17, 2022, SPA -- Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh in Jeddah has met with Grand Mufti and head of the Islamic Sheikhdom in the Republic of Kosovo Sheikh Naim Ternava, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The minister spoke about the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, upon directives of its wise leadership, in serving Islam and Muslims in the world, caring for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors of pilgrims and Umrah performers, spreading the principles of moderation and tolerance, and combating extremism and hate. For his part, Sheikh Ternava extended his congratulation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, after the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has left hospital following medical tests, treatment plan and a recovery period. He also praised the historical positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kosovo’s people and the assistance that contributed to overcoming crises that faced Kosovo over history, commending the big efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, in serving Islam and Muslims, and caring for the Two Holy Mosques to facilitate procedures for their visitors to perform rituals easily and with tranquility. He also referred to the constructive cooperation with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for the service of Islam and caring for Muslims in Kosovo, spreading the values of moderation and implementing Ramadan programs that serve the entire people of Kosovo.
