Riyadh, May 16, 2022, SPA-- The Saudi specialist surgeons team who successfully operated the separation surgery of the Yemeni conjoined twins in King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh yesterday, announced that one of the twins died on the second day of the separation surgery as a result of a severe drop in blood circulation and heart failure, despite the full medical care provided for him, citing that the surgical team had faced great difficulties and challenges during the separation process, which made the deceased’s condition critical after the operation. The surgical team added that the condition of the other twin is stable but he is still under observation in the Intensive Care Department of King Abdullah Specialist Padiatric Hospital in King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh.
