The Gambia Supports the Kingdom’s Bid to Host the World Expo 2030

Banjul, February 24, 2022, SPA -- The Gambian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mamadou Tangara, announced in a statement to the media today his country's support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's bid to host the Expo 2030. The Gambian President, Adama Barrow, had received Ahmed Qattan, Advisor at the Royal Court, who conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to the Gambian President, government and people, while the Gambian President sent his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Highness the Crown Prince, and the government and people of the Kingdom.
