GCC Secretary General, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Discuss Gulf Developments, GCC Process

Kuwait, Nov. 30, 2021, SPA – Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf and Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah discussed here today a host of Gulf region developments and reviewed GCC process. The discussions took place at the headquarters of the Kuwaiti foreign ministry in the presence of Kuwaiti foreign ministry senior officials as well as the Head of GCC Negotiations Team Abdulrahman Ahmed Al-Harbi as part of Al-Hajraf’s official visit to the State of Kuwait. The talks addressed the concerted efforts aiming to support the GCC process to enhance and continue consultations among member countries in a way that realizes the implementation of directives of GCC leaders to benefit the peoples of the GCC countries. The meeting also reviewed the efforts being exerted by the GCC Secretariat General, particularly the GCC Negotiations Department, to activate free trade negotiations with several countries and enhance GCC economic and commercial relations regionally and internationally, citing the progress realized in this regard, in line with decisions of GCC foreign ministers in a way that realizes the aspirations of GCC countries. --SPA 18:51 LOCAL TIME 15:51 GMT 0021 www.spa.gov.sa/w1658231
