Madinah, May 23, 2022, SPA -- The way of preparing tea is part of cultures of peoples and their humanitarian heritage that they are proud of, where their societies inherit from generation to another for its being a heritage that symbolizes their customs and traditions. The Cultures and Peoples' Festival, organized by the Islamic University of Madinah, showed various ways of preparing tea that is considered the most consumed drink in the world. As the areas of planting tea and timings of reaping it differ from place to place, so do its ways of preparation among countries and peoples, yet they constitute a main element on food banquets and a symbol of hospitality. The 10th version of the festival, which saw the participation of students from the Islamic University of Madinah from more than 100 nationalities, represents a platform for cultures and an incubator for the humanitarian heritage of several peoples of the world and a window to get acquainted with their traditions, where the festival sheds light on the variety in lifestyles among different countries, peoples and cultures and reviews their establishment, history and traditions and the top old dishes and fashions of each country and what they enjoy of unique cultural heritage. --SPA 13:05 LOCAL TIME 10:05 GMT 0008 www.spa.gov.sa/w1736868
